Keeping Our Dogs Comfortable

A very cool image of the blood vessels in a dog. Specifically look at the density around the nose.
It’s clearly a super sensitive area and makes me wonder what damage and pain could we be causing with the use of equipment like Haltis, headcollars, figure of 8’s etc.
This emphasises the importance of comfortable equipment like well fitted harnesses and the value in teaching our dogs to want to walk with us rather than punishing them for pulling or increasing distance.
Every dog is capable of learning to walk nicely on a lead, they all just have different starting points!
